GitHub as more functionality and visibility, it's not just a matter of sheep flock, and of course Hg is powerful, but codeplex is completely stuck compared to every other product out there. You probably would like to check https://bitbucket.org as an HG alternative to codeplex, with comparable functionality to GitHub.
